Reverse round the corner
Left Reverse,
When you drive past the corner you intend to reverse round, take a good look to see if you can actually do it for example are there any obstructions to prevent you from doing so, else if ok then you need to look at the corner, see how sharp it is and also if its on a gradient up or down or is it flat.
Park about 3 car lengths from the junction leaving about a drains width from the curb.
Reverse in a line upto first reference point which is the cherries lining up with the curb.
Next: The moment you start reversing turn the wheel 3/4 of a turn to the left then add an extra 1/4 if you are coming away from the curb otherwise if you see the curb cutting in under the car then you will need to take off all the steering until the danger has gone from cutting the curb and reapply the 3/4 of a turn until when checking the larger mirror in your door mirror the backend of the car starts to point in then to take all the steering off. When you are closing in on the curb you will need to finish off with a 1/4 turn to the right so the backend moves away from the curb and the front end starts to point in then take the 1/4 turn off back to the left. Make sure you finish by looking over the left shoulder when stopping reversing.
Points:.
Keep the car SLOW
when steering turn the wheel FAST.
