Bay Parking

As you come into the car park, you will need to line the car parallel to the line that connects the parking spaces (not all spaces will have that line so just imagine there is a line at the end of the line separating the parking spaces). You will also need to be around 1(one) metre away

Next: Line up the door handle with a line separating each of the spaces.

(You will end up behind the third line from that reference point)

All you need to do now is look all round from the 5 o'clock check anti-clockwise so you end up looking over your left shoulder at the 7 o'clock check.

Release the hand break once you have the bitting point set. The moment the car starts to move slowly then turn your steering wheel to the FULL LEFT LOCK in 1 second flat keeping the car moving slowly. Observe a few times and trust the car, you will notice as the car turns you will see the separation line in the small mirror. As the car lines up with this line, take all that steering off ( which is one and a half turns back to the right ) in 1 second flat, you should be looking over your left should 90% of the time with occasional glances around the car. When you STOP reversing your eyeballs should be looking out of the back window. Ensure you haven't gone back too far that you may be overhanging the line behind the car, if you do just select 1st gear and move forward a few feet so the line connecting the spaces comes just under the door mirror.

Did I tell you that was easy?
